Deviate Cycles is a Scottish manufacturer of high-pivot mountain bikes, founded in 2016. Co-founders Ben Jones and Chris Deverson first met over a decade ago while working as mountain bike guides—a formative experience that shaped their vision for Deviate: to push the boundaries of mountain bike design and drive its evolution forward. Today, that vision is a reality, with a range of award-winning bikes meticulously engineered for superior reliability and performance.
Our bikes are designed to be confidence-inspiring, allowing riders to tackle the toughest trails with control and precision. We specialise in high-pivot suspension bikes, offering a range that includes trail and enduro analogue models—plus, our first e-bike, the Kurgan, launching this Summer.
Deviate Cycles is supporting us with the food & water station, when asked why, they shared this: "Scotland is home to some of the most breathtaking trails and dedicated riders in the world. That’s why we invest in grassroots events that foster progression, inclusivity, and the raw excitement of mountain biking. From local enduros to bike-packing trips, we stand behind the people and places that push our sport forward.
Deviate Cycles isn’t just about designing world-class bikes—it’s about building connections. We support the events that bring riders together, celebrate progression, and inspire the next generation of mountain bikers. Whether it’s an up-and-coming racer or a weekend warrior, we’re here to make sure everyone has a place in the sport."
